Our ongoing primary maths tutoring sessions are designed to strengthen your child's understanding and confidence in mathematics, laying a solid foundation for future academic success. Each lesson is customised to meet your child's specific needs and learning style. We build on the insights gained from the initial assessment and first session to provide targeted and effective instruction. The key components of our lessons include one or more of the following: FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS: Ensuring a strong grasp of basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. PROBLEM-SOLVING: Developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills through engaging and practical exercises. MATHEMATICAL CONCEPTS: Exploring key concepts such as fractions, decimals, geometry, and measurement in an understandable and relatable way. MENTAL MATHS: Enhancing speed and accuracy with mental math strategies and exercises. APPLICATION OF MATHS: Demonstrating how maths applies to real-life situations to make learning relevant and interesting. Our lessons are designed to keeping your child motivated and engaged. Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION: Lessons may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. Lessons not attended without giving 24 hours prior notice shall be charged at the full rate. If the Tutor cancels a session for any reason and at any time prior to the start of the session, a future lesson will be rescheduled at a date/time that is mutually agreed upon. LATE ARRIVAL AND CHANGE OF SCHEDULE: No adjustment to fees shall be made for time lost due to late arrival of the Student or leaving early by the Student. Any lost time due to the late arrival of the Tutor shall be compensated for by extending a lesson. The Tutor agrees to wait 20 minutes from the time of the scheduled session for the Student's arrival before considering that session cancelled without sufficient prior notice. FEES: Fees may be adjusted from time to time and shall become effective after having given the Student/Parent 7 days notice. Prepaid lessons are not subject to price increases. REFUNDS: No refunds will be issued for any lessons or packages purchased.
